Guys ,
Hate to bring you the bad news , but Dave took a nasty tumble at Popham yesterday and is now in intensive care at Basingstoke Hospital .
He has suffered multiple cracked & broken ribs and punctured lung and is being kept under close observation as a matter of precaution. He is consious and very much alert and already worrying about work and the Hampshire MX championships. Oh he also suffered a broken thumb which has already been plastered but will need a pin.
I happened to arrive at Popham just as the first aid was being administered and glad to say Dave was allert and talking to the paramendics as they put him on the stretcher and then off to Basingstoke .
Exactly what happened is still a bit of a mystery , but Dave apparently went over the bars and was hit by the bike after it did a back flip in the air .
Lets all wish him a speedy recovery ,
