| First my best goes to the injured rider who fell in the A group.
I am in the van travelling back home felling hard done by the track preperation. When I walked around and saw the grading which I think was done by a bucket and spade! I knew then it was going to be dusty. First lap of practise and the track was dry and already kicking up dust not a good sign. After the first heats and races if we had water it could of gone down then and flooded the track. After lunch the racing would of been fine for the first lap. Why can't we keep the watering all day? Are riders willing to pay for this if it's money that's the problem?
It always seems to be the same problem with swanmore and west meon.
We need to find a solution as this sort of meeting is killing the sport and a personal cost of around £80 to race!
Just like to add this is not the clubs fault!!

| didn`t even bother going to this **** prepared track,on the riders behalf jamie should be going round that farmers house , demanding his money back and paying a percentage of the entries back . as for the water problem, its apparently a 9 mile round trip! .....so.......we knew when we were going there 9 months ago scrap the track next year ( twice) and go to gunnar | |

| Good call, bad call.... personally i think it was a good call! The only decision was to cancel. On lap 2 of the first A-race I was in 3rd place and still couldn't see a thing. Couldn't see the track, couldn't see the rider in front of me or the marshalls! Flat out in 4th gear up the hill, riding the washboard like having my eyes shut! When the red flag came out I coudn't see it or the marshalls and very nearly landed on 2nd place rider Aaron Carmicheal over the last jump who had seen the flag and rightly backed off with his hand up. Dangerous!!!
As Lee said, the track was wrecked after practise. Grading does not mean drag all the dusty dirt into the holes!! Great berms and good fun if you're the only one out there but not when there's a full gate! Not the club's fault!!! 36,000 gallons of water was not enough! We're not only battling poor tracks but a very dry season! We need some rain!! I've raced most weekends this season and not had a wet race yet!
Big shout out to the rider who crashed over the sh*t bombhole jump and best wishes for a speedy recovery! From what Angie said, his wrist was destroyed with the wrist bone poking through the skin. Gnarly!! | |

| was the right call i would say did like how rough the track was though me thinks we need 2 get a digger in and sort out the jumpes but dont grade it How much would it cost 2 hire a lorry and tanker 4 the day then there would b no 9 mile round trip 4 the tractor and bowser from what i have looked into u can get a tanker that holds 32 thousand gallons | |

| hey everyone sounds like swnamore was its usual fun. my cousin raced and said he could not see a thing. Fair play to jamie sounds like he made a good call as he normally does.! As for the grading of this track Mr Turner used to attend the agm meeting in the past maybe everyone should ask him why this track is in poor condition time and time again if he chooses to show this year !!!!!!!. see you all at foxholes . | |
