Thought the track was poor compared to last time, but still OK. Very slippy in practice but got round ok with no probs. Heat 2 and i got a fairly good start and just worked away pulling in a few places. Qualified B. MX1 was just terrible. . Hit the gate, crashed on the first lap, then got going again and crashed again twisting my bars. Gave up. B1 - Very bad start, was near last on first lap but pulled through loads of places and ... Heat Race – Good start took the lead on lap 1 until Tony came passed on the last lap. I'd never ridden the track before so had a good look round and tried to stay upright. Got a fairly good start in the qualifier and got my head down. Plugged away and finished near the front ish, and qualified for the A group! MX1 race was fairly good, but got a realy bad start. Managed to pull a few places back and finsihed 14th in the end. To start with I don't really like Meon but recent results have been really good for me on the new Suzuki. The track was OK for practise but was soon the same old worn out crap with no ruts or lines and down to the rock. Anyway, at least it didn't rain!! Had a good qualifier despite pulling peg number 35.
