ZERO X Electric Dirt Bike

The Zero X electric motorcycle is a full sized high performance machine. Built from the ground up using the ultimate electric motorcycle technology and boasting 50 ft-lbs of torque, this stealthy motorcycle will send you racing up hills, flying over jumps, and splashing through streams. Best part is, you can do it all without disturbing nature or your neighbors.

After years of designing electric motorcycles we’re always looking to ‘one up’ ourselves and it shows in the latest modifications we’ve made to the 2009 Zero X electric motorcycle. It’s faster, stronger, and more durable in the most demanding terrain. We’ve upgraded elements of the drivetrain, frame, suspension and more. Inside and out it’s a better motorcycle. We know that’s great… but the part that really excites us is how much more fun you’ll have getting to the places you couldn’t go before.

Our proprietary Z-Force™ lithium ion power pack and handmade aircraft grade aluminum frame combine to form a motorcycle that is the fastest, lightest, cleanest, and most fun. Check out the Zero X features for more info.

Best things is, me and Paul are test riding them!!

Will we be seeing anything of these at a meeting near us soon then?

Might stop all these "do gooders" complaining about noise and pollution of the environment.

These don't look much bigger than a downhill bike.

What size engine are they comparable to

and how many beer tokens are they.

They were great fun and a real eye opener. Very quick and responsive. The spec is...

Only 65kilos with 23bhp but 50lbs of torque from zero revs. Awesome from a standing start.
The problem is the price at the moment as they are still prototypes and so it will cost around $10,000 to get one of the top spec bikes that we were riding. There is one other make on the market at the moment but the Zero is the fastest. KTM are currently building one so once the big manufacturers get involved the price is bound to come down.

lol! lol! lol! lol! lol! lol!

We are now trying to get organise a race meeting on them so watch this space.....
